Yamaha Golf-Car Company Supports Future Skilled Trade Professionals at 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference
Atlanta, Ga. — Yamaha Golf-Car Company was proud to attend the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta, Georgia, last week, where we had the opportunity to connect with students, educators, and industry professionals who are shaping the future of the skilled trades.

Throughout the event, students demonstrated impressive technical abilities, hands-on knowledge, and a passion for innovation. As part of our sponsored competitions, 49 high school and post-secondary students competed in hands-on challenges designed to test practical skills and problem-solving abilities. Competitors were provided with service manuals, materials, factory specifications, and detailed instructions to complete each activity.
The first challenge focused on electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting, requiring students to identify and resolve technical issues using proper testing procedures and reference materials. The second challenge highlighted precision measurement skills, where competitors demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and technical knowledge.
It was exciting to see participants engage with our vehicles and learn more about the technology, craftsmanship, and performance that drive our products forward. As a company committed to supporting workforce development and technical education, we value opportunities like SkillsUSA that help prepare the next generation of technicians, mechanics, and industry leaders.
Yamaha Golf-Car Company would like to thank SkillsUSA for hosting another outstanding conference and for creating an environment that encourages growth and career development. We are honored to support an organization that continues to inspire future talent across the country.
